Donna Slater - Hello Stranger This is my grandmother Aldonna Slater singing Hello Stranger. She was a beautiful woman and had both an amazing life and an amazing voice. This is from the 1960's and is in its original sound format. Rights belong to Alley/Ram Records. This is posted for the viewing and listening pleasure of family/friends.

OH MY WORD THE MEMORIESSSSS. THANK YOU !!
Your Grandmother had beautiful voice, and this is a real nice song. You must be very proud!
I muted the sound and watched this with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. 🤩
The Rudolph one I remember most fondly watching in the Hospital when I was there with a Broken leg when I was 12 and had to stay overnight. :) Good memories. One of the nurses even brought me a little polar bear plushie and had bandaged it's one leg, telling me "I accidentally ran over him on my way to work. Would you keep him company?" I still have that bear to this day and I'll be 30 next month.
D'awwww that's nice
That's sweet. When I was little I had to get my either my tonsils or wisdom teeth took out I was given a teddy bear and a book explaining about what was fixing to happen to me.
Thank you for posting this!!!!
Thanks for posting this. Your grandma could sing. And she wrote this as well. It even got a short review in the 9/4/65 issue of 'Record World' magazine.
Born in Austin, raised on Antones with bands like Storyville. I remember Malfred on stage like it was yesterday (1997). There will never be a time, musically, as good as that. Thank you, Storyville, Ian Moore, Arc Angels...and many more ATx originals. Y’all helped make us who we are today...
Wow I had this exact movie on vhs as a child it bring s back so many memories . What is it called ?

It was amazing how, in the cartoon "Christmas Comes But Once A Year," Professor Grampy (who was a regular character in the Betty Boop cartoons) was able to take ordinary household items and turn them into wonderful toys for those orphans. The old man is a regular MacGyver! I noticed that at the beginning of the film, the front of the orphanage looked almost real, as if the animation was combined with live action. It was the same way with that Christmas tree that Grampy made out of umbrellas. When it was revolving on the turntable, it looked like a live Christmas tree. The lights on it looked real too. In "The Shanty Where Santy Claus Lives," the characters on the wind-up orchestra toy and the tiny black doll look like stereotyped black caricatures, complete with ape-like faces, thick lips, and "Negro" dialects. Whereas the white dolls says "Momma," the black one says "Mammy." They would never get away with making a cartoon like that in this day and age because it would be considered racist, and rightly so, I might add. It shows how much things have changed.
Ahh I remember these ol classics on the TV and recorded on BetaMAX in the day Nice to find them again, one seems to be missing as I remember it, the 1 where a bunch of kids from around the world sneak onto Santa's Sleigh. Santa comes back to the North Pole, falls asleep, they clean his house; it ends with a Santa finding a music box under the tree that displays the sames kids. Now if only I could remember the name. also Thank you Merry Christmas to yall. Well I guess i just needed a very specific set of parameters, found it ua-cam.com/video/-cbNqpaNyAw/v-deo.html Santa's Surprise Paramount 1947
